Confronting the Future

Last night I attended a meeting of ISKO the British Chapter of the International Society of Knowledge Organization.

Search v Classify – that is the question and when is it worth or necessary to ‘advance’ from using one tool to the next.

Maybe only individuals can ‘advance’ at the pace that technology seems to prescribe. But among last night’s individuals there are certainly people who can evaluate technologies so that a ‘rating system’ can provide some ‘braces’ and ‘value framework’.
